There are so many “children’s” programs out that I wish my children wouldn’t watch, so what did I do? I cancelled all subscriptions for Dstv and started downloading Sesame Street and Reading Rainbow episodes. I can’t describe the changes I have seen from my 3 year old to my 11 year old. How did we forget how cool Big Bird and Levar Burton were? When I hear my child singing songs that are practically sounding out vowels and my daughter talking about bats I just smile to myself and open my Facebook.
